These Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) govern your access to and use of authorpreneur.ioand the Authorpreneur service (the “Service”), operated by The Aligned Biz Co, LLC (“Authorpreneur,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately at support@authorpreneur.io if you suspect any unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Upload content that you do not own or do not have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use.
• Use Authorpreneur to generate content that infringes the copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise objectionable.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or related systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs as if they were our software.

3. User Content and Generated Manuscripts

You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any source material you upload, and (b) the manuscripts generated from that source material do not infringe the rights of any third party. You retain ownership of your source material and of the manuscripts generated by the Service from that material; Authorpreneur claims no ownership rights in your inputs or outputs.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your source material solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (for example, generating, refining, and exporting manuscripts).

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the software, design, copy, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology, is the property of The Aligned Biz Co, LLC and its licensors. These Terms of Use grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your subscription or credit balance. No other rights are granted.

5. Copyright and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice that complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to support@authorpreneur.io and include: (i) a description of the copyrighted work, (ii) the location of the allegedly infringing material, (iii) your contact information, (iv) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized, (v) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, and (vi) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and we do not warrant the accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated output.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither The Aligned Biz Co, LLC nor any of its officers, employees, or agents will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the total amount you paid us during that period.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Aligned Biz Co, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms of Use or our other policies, (c) any source material you upload, and (d) any manuscript or content generated through your use of the Service that infringes third-party rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use or our Terms & Conditions, or if we are required to do so by law. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms of Use will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
